It's not about what's under the Christmas tree...

It's not about what's under the Christmas tree, but instead it's about who is around it. I'm sure this is a lesson we have all learned sometime during our childhood or adulthood... especially those of us who watched the Peanut's Christmas movie. When you stop to think about it, that's probably one of the deepest things any of us will learn when it comes time to celebrating a family holiday. For me, my family is in South Texas and there aren't many times throughout the year when I get to see them, so I tend to find a way to make family wherever I go. While I'm absolutely lucky to be fortunate enough to spend the Holiday season with my blood family this year, I get a lot of time to spend with this wonderful family who lets me take as many photos of them as I like.

This year is the little man's first Christmas. Last year his parents announced their pregnancy officially for the world using little stockings, so fitting in their Christmas photos was absolutely perfect. The fact that they wore Incredible costumes? Even more perfect! This captures what they are year round... pretty goofy, but still super lovable. I can't help but grin when I see the pictures of them wearing their costumes.

Next up, we incorporated ugly Christmas sweaters. CATS EVERYWHERE... and of course Deadpool. The little guy's sweater says "Meowy Christmas" and matches his mommy's Christmas cat sweater. And his daddy wouldn't be his daddy if he wasn't wearing something to do with heroes... plus his Mr. Incredible tights.

Obviously we had to add Ember into the mix with these cat ugly Christmas sweaters. We made sure to let her know she was included in the family!

Then it was time for this little guy's solo session and man did he ham up the camera. He is always happy whenever I see him and this grin on his face proves that. Usually having a photoshoot with a 6 month old isn't always the easiest task, but he is such a happy baby and makes it work no matter what. Plus, check out how those eyes POP!

I hope all of you have a happy holiday season no matter what you're celebrating and an extremely happy 2019! Be on the lookout for more of this adorable family and this handsome little guy!
