Baby *DJ*

Today I got the immense pleasure of doing a newborn/one month session of one of the easiest babies I have ever done a photoshoot of. There were very few times that she was fussy and it just so happens that she's EXTREMELY photogenic!

Dylan Joy was an absolute JOY to work with (pun intended). She absolutely fits her name. She was expected to grace the world on December 17, but decided to come a whole 10 days early! Just one day shy of one month old, she was already scooting right along anytime we laid her face down to get laying down photos. She would prop herself right up, grab the blanket she was on, and PULL! She had PLACES. TO. BE!

*DJ* comes from quite the family. Her mother is from the Bahamas and her father ran track at UT-Arlington! It's obvious that their love for their little girl is fresh and will continue to keep growing throughout her life. She's the first baby for both of them and already spoiled as can be (rightfully so)!

We went through a few outfit changes and we absolutely had to squeeze in a couple of Christmas shots under the tree! How could you not? After all, today IS Three Kings' Day, AKA Epiphany. She was wide awake the entire time and ready to pay attention to just about everything. If she napped, it was only for a moment before waking right up ready to be busy again!

It was an absolutely perfect little day spending it taking photos of this "little peanut". I couldn't have had a better session for my first photoshoot of 2019!
